Yo soy Tica. Una tica en Inglaterra… I moved from Costa Rica to the United Kingdom almost 21 years ago. I lived in the Netherlands for 7 years… and now I am back in England! My husband introduced me to the world of blogs, so I decided to start “Out of Costa Rica” 3 years ago. (He is thrilled!)… and by the way… Marie Alden is my stage name!!! Another good reason to start this blog of course is Costa Rica! I am going to try to be objective as it is very easy for me to just mention the good things and ignore the not so good ones.

El idioma oficial de Costa Rica es el español y bueno, de Latinoamérica, aunque no puedo evitar el “Spanglish”. Hablar de Costa Rica no es fácil para mi porque quiero ser objetiva y estando fuera me es difícil, pero trataré.Desde este rincón un saludo para todos mis compatriotas ticos y por supuesto a todos los visitantes a este blog que espero disfruten.

Me gusta leer; el arte: teatro, cine, visitar museos… caminar, decoración de interiores y el clima tropical!!!! Además me gusta jugar un poco con Paint Shop Prop y Animation y este blog es una buena práctica.
